**Position Overview:**

Green River Medical Center is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team on a full-time basis. The CFO will play a crucial role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our healthcare services. This full-time position offers 32.5 hours per week with full benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, with a competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee all financial operations of the medical center, including billing, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to executive team and board of directors.

- Manage revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and reimbursement, to optimize revenue generation and cash flow.

- Collaborate with leaders to develop and monitor budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

- Utilize grant experience to seek, manage, and report on grants to support the organization's mission and programs.

- Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.

- Monitor and assess the financial impact of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors on the organization.

- Lead and mentor all staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably within an FQHC or community health center setting.

- Strong knowledge or desire to learn of healthcare finance, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers.

- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing staff.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively.

- Demonstrated proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- Grant experience preferred, including grant seeking, management, and reporting.

- Experience in budgeting and financial management in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
