You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing plans, both online and offline, to promote the hotel's offerings and elevate its market position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels. Develop and maintain brand guidelines to uphold the hotel's image. Marketing Strategy: Formulate and execute strategic marketing plans to drive hotel revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Online and Offline Presence: Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns. Manage offline marketing initiatives, including events, partnerships, and print collateral. Promotions and Campaigns: Conceptualize and implement promotional campaigns to boost hotel occupancy and other revenue streams. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to optimize results. Content Creation: Develop compelling marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, advertisements, and online content. Ensure that all content aligns with brand messaging and resonates with the target audience. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, such as Sales, Events, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. Foster partnerships with external vendors and agencies when necessary. Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, optimizing resources for maximum impact. Other: Other duties may be assigned as needed. Attending training sessions set out by the Westin Resort to ensure continued personal development. Required Knowledge and Skills Ability to maintain excellent relations with staff. Ability to always maintain staff and guest confidentiality. Exceptional oral communications to ensure ability to negotiate and persuade guests and staff to achieve results beneficial to operation of hotel. Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services, and facilities Ability to deliver informative, well-prepared, and pertinent presentations to both small and large groups. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks despite frequent stressful, emergency, critical, or unusual interruptions. Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve dates, names, times, and other data. Ability to converse calmly with irate guests, superiors, and subordinates in sometimes intense emotional situations. Interpret and comply with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled form. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions, to make decisions with minimal supervision and to prioritize tasks to maintain service standards. Must be able to convey positive image of self and hotel. Knowledge of Guam and vicinity, including, but not limited to attraction, directions, and restaurants. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Qualifications Required Education and Experience High school or equivalent education required. Minimum one years' experience in Sales and Marketing Special Note: Local Hire position No Relocation Compensation competitive to Guam Market On-site position Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
