Description

Role:

This position will be the key personnel for Somerpointe Resorts Corporate office Coffee Bar where they will assist and lead in coffee selection, spend limited time brewing espresso drinks, slow drip cold brew and assisting with the operation of the coffee bar. This person must have a natural enthusiasm for coffee from its sourcing, brewing and making. This person does not need to be an expert but have a core knowledge and a natural desire to continue to learn and share all things coffee. This person will share with the team their thoughts in coffee selections, provide basic sampling and other related experiences. Some of these experiences will likely be taped for a short video for internal team use or other. The time in the coffee bar break room will be limited to few hours a day during a couple sessions per day. In the off time, they will be located up front as a receptionist and administrator. There they will perform normal duties such as answering limited inbound calls and welcome and direct incoming guests. They will also sort mail and other common administrative tasks and assisting various departments and managers with administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research, try and propose different coffee roasts for the team.
  2. Provide basic barista functions for the team in the morning, lunch time and other as needed by preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as espresso coffee drinks, tea, artisan and other specialty beverages .
  3. Participate in coffee related programing for the team.

- Adheres to the Company script when communicating with prospective owners and members

- Assists select managers with administrative functions.

- Assists with maintaining office and Break Room inventories

- Oversee inbound mail handling and distribution

- Maintains a working knowledge of all resorts, Company products and services as they related to marketing and the company as a whole

- Responsible for professionally and courteously handling escalated guest issues

- Support the daily activities and assignments provided by leadership. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Marketing Call Center goals.

- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures

- Additional duties that may be assigned to meet business needs
