The Associate is part of Ashland’s Treasury team and will primarily be responsible for Bank Reconciliation. The main activities & objectives: Reconciliation of bank accounts for Ashland’s Asia, EMEA, North American and South American entities. Retrieval of electronic bank statement files from various bank websites and use of shared drives for statement upload and storage Accurate and timely loading and posting of electronic bank statement activity Manual bank statement entry and clearing Comparison of bank statement data to the general ledger, researching discrepancies and preparing correcting entries Following up on open items and preparation of weekly open item reports Handling bank statement requests or document entry support from various departments as well as internal and external audit groups Working closely with cash application team and Cash Management team on the open items. Your experience/education is: Internationally recognized degree At least 2 years of experience in treasury or accounting or banking Excellent spoken and written English Experience with SAP Your skills and abilities are: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products is required Customer and service-oriented attitude Team player Able to work independently, remotely and with minimal supervision Ability to work in a multicultural environment Able to work well under pressure Eye for detail and accuracy Initiative In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
