Organization: Dir Pharmacy Inpt Svcs Job Summary: The Pharmacist Manager involves technical support and project management for Automation & Technology supporting pharmacy operations. The main system supported will be the enterprise-wide Omnicell system, with additional systems added as needed. Leads the pharmacy team in the coordination, monitoring, and supervision of pharmacy services in the department. This includes human resources, medication systems, and pharmaceutical care to ensure the provision of quality patient-focused care that meets all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Plans and develops customer-focused pharmacy systems and services for specific areas to meet the changing needs of the medical enterprise. Works with the administrative team and staff to constantly innovate the method for delivery of quality, cost-effective pharmacy services. Manages and develops staff members to ensure competency and growth of staff. Manages budget including volumes, drug & personnel expense for a specific area. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates, monitors, and manages pharmacy operations while maintaining all safety and compliance regulations. Effectively coordinates departmental resources and actively participates in stewardship and cost control initiatives. Effectively manages human resources and creates an environment that enhances morale and facilitates teamwork. Manages Pharmacy systems and operations to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency. Ensures the delivery of outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
