Nesco Resource is seeking a Business Engineer to assist the Operations Team with business-capture and other Technical Integration movements as it relates to End Customers and new prospective Customers on full-time basis.

This is a hybrid opportunity reporting into the Springfield, NJ area about two to three times a week.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Engineer with a focus on IT solutions pricing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and pricing out new business ventures primarily related to IT servers, desktop management, and managed services. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies for new IT solutions, considering market trends, competitor pricing, and cost analysis. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the profitability and viability of proposed IT ventures, including cost estimation, revenue forecasting, and ROI calculations. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for innovation. Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed proposals outlining pricing structures, service offerings, and value propositions tailored to meet client needs and maximize revenue potential. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, address inquiries related to pricing models, and negotiate terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks associated with pricing decisions and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure business sustainability. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales teams, product managers, and finance professionals to align pricing strategies with business objectives and revenue targets. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine pricing methodologies, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in pricing strategy development, preferably within the IT industry. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex pricing concepts to diverse stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with IT servers, desktop management, and managed services is highly desirable. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Salesforce). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
