Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior Property Accountant. This position will be in NYC on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage general ledgers for a diverse portfolio of properties. Prepare and close monthly, quarterly, and year-end general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP. Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review lease agreements and billing activities to verify proper charges and adjustments. Administer tenant recurring charges and process adjustments as needed. Track and document cash receipts accurately. Analyze loan agreements, manage debt service payments, and oversee escrow accounts. Monitor and invoice management fees according to contractual agreements. Calculate and reconcile annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges for tenants. Required Qualifications: 4-8 years of property accounting experience Strong working knowledge of Excel. Previous experience with Yardi is a plus.
