This opportunity spans 126 days and involves a flexible schedule with both inpatient and outpatient duties, including 8a-5p clinic hours, 24-hour call, and coverage for 2-3 weeks per month. Job Details Location: West Virginia Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 126 days Provider Type Needed: Hematologist/Oncologist Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month of outpatient clinic; 1 week of outpatient clinic plus inpatient 24-hour call; weekend 24-hour call; shifts are 8a-5p Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology settings Cover 2-3 weeks per month, managing both clinic and hospital-based patients Participate in 24-hour call coverage as scheduled Ensure continuity of care across settings Adhere to all required clinical protocols and standards Additional Information Must hold a valid West Virginia medical license Required board certifications: Hematology, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Candidates must be comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
