Job Description

  • Perform testing in the laboratory and report results according to SOP
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment
  • Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP
  • Maintain and manage laboratory inventory
  • Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team
  • Maintain competencies and continuing education
Qualifications

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution highly preferred
  • Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation
Minimum Experience:
  • New MLS/CLS graduates welcome
License/Certifications:
  • ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

COVID-19 testing is available at some Atlantic Health System outpatient laboratories and centers, as well as a sensory room in the Atlantic Health Children's Specialty Center at Morristown offers a calming space to help make your family's lab visit a caring and compassionate experience.
