Shift Information:

This position is Full time working Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Late and call shifts required.

What you will do:

Responsible for assuring quality patient care by coordinating with the RN in the planning and implementation of patient care in the Endoscopy Suite. Maintains SGNA and ASGE standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assists the physician by setting up the equipment and supplies, collecting specimens performing technical tasks as required and reprocessing the Endoscopes.

Preferred Education:

Previous experience as a Endoscopy Tech or Licensed Vocational Nurse or Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program

Required Licensure/Registration Certification:

Basic Life Support

Preferred Licensure/Registration Certification:

LVN or Certification as a Surgical Technologist. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Required Skills: Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills: Meditech, faxing, scanning

Preferred Experience: One or more years' experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
