Staff Accountant responsibilities:
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform general Bookkeeping duties.
  • Calculate taxes, and submit payroll tax returns timely and accurately.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate financial reports and analysis to support client decision-making.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience, preferably public accounting
  • Tax preparation experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or similar field, preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or tax software experience a plus
