Hybrid position requiring 4 days in Southlake office per week for the first 90 days, and after this introductory period, can discuss with manager.

Job Description
The Senior Accountant provides support for the day-to-day processing and maintenance of the Company's financial records. Ideally, you will have background knowledge and experience with a monthly closing process and related activities within accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, leases, and general ledger. You have experience working in a best-in-class ERP system and may have been part of the implementation team. You will need to leverage your technical expertise in financial systems as well as Microsoft Excel and other software applications to assist you in your general ledger responsibilities and analysis. You should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, meet deadlines and "get things done". Key Areas of Responsibilities
•Primarily responsible for Fixed Asset accounting processes, including roll forwards & related reporting.
•Primarily responsible for Lease Accounting (ASC 842) processes & related reporting
•Prepare month end journal entries and adjustments with appropriate documentation.
•Prepare accurate and well-supported month-end accruals for multiple lines of business as well as corporate.
•Ensure that accounting and reporting activities are done in accordance with GAAP.
•Prepare and assist with preparation of month end bank reconciliations.
•Prepare and assist with preparation of month end financial statements for internal and external users.
•Prepare and assist with preparation and analysis of corporate overhead P&L's
•Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations of selected asset and liability accounts with appropriate supporting documentation.
•Contribute to month-end close and financial reporting deadlines.
•Assist with preparation of audit support schedules.
•Ad-hoc projects and audits

Education, Experience & Requirements
•CPA, a plus
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Understanding of best-in-class accounting process
•Excel and Word skills-comfortable with pivot tables, sumifs, VLOOKUP's and match
•2 - 3 years' experience in related accounting position
•Ability to communicate clearly within all levels of organization.
•Experience with ERP systems; Workday Finance, a plus
•Working knowledge of financial statements
•Team player with ability to meet deadlines.
•Service focused and sense of urgency with both internal and external customers.
