Job Description:
KEV is looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to lead and drive existing customer growth. As a Regional Account Manager, reporting into the company's Chief Customer Office, you will be accountable for revenue growth, churn, NPS and overall advocacy in the region. You will own your quota pipeline, and all forecasting. You will indirectly lead a team of local account managers: supporting them in developing and executing on individual account plans, taking point on larger and more complex sales, helping with up leveling relationships and networking across the account, and general coaching.
Responsibilities:
Act as the business's lead account manager for all accounts in specified region and partner with local account managers to ensure customer value and engagement (the foundation for long-term account health and growth).
Develop a deep understanding of the customer's priorities and challenges and generate the associated account and sales strategies to address these needs.
Ensure detailed business plans are in place for each state in your region that align with your region's overall growth targets.
Drive the execution of all state and account-level plans, achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual quotas.
Coach and develop local account managers, ensuring their individual success and developing future Regional Account Managers.
Directly lead sales and account management efforts for select key accounts and larger more complex opportunities.
Partner with new account sales executives and marketing leads in your region, supporting them with customer referrals and references for new customer acquisition.
Collect feedback, data and insights on your customer base and share back with the relevant KEV teams and leadership, identifying new growth opportunities, challenges and market trends for KEV.
Ensure customer records contain all the necessary customer information and insights required to drive customer success, growth and the development and targeting of new products.
Requirements and Skills:
Experienced account executive with 5+ years of sales and/or account management experience.
Experience selling into and managing relationships with public school districts a plus.
Ability to travel within your assigned territory
A natural leader with a proven track record of exceeding KPIs and sales quotas.
Demonstrated coaching and human capital development experience.
Proven ability to build and manage account-specific sales and business plans.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for building trust with customers at all levels.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Great influencer with strong solution selling and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated success in navigating complex matrixed environments.
Experience managing pipeline and associated forecasts.
