We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner- Waste Control Attendant. The hours for this position are 4:30pm-3:00am. Monday -Thursdays

**Role Summary:**

Keep all the garbage emptied throughout the RTE facility and squeegee up wet/ moist areas from the Temp Room, Receiving area through to the Prep Room, RTE, Pack Off, Freezer and Bread areas.

**Responsibilities:**

* In charge of managing and keeping the warehouse free of debris in Bread Warehouse/Tempering Room

* Keep GMP area stock and replenish as needed

* Break down empty boxes and store in cardboard bail

* Empty cardboard bail if full

* Dispose of waste from RTE dumpsters into trash compactor

* Sort through broken/damaged pallets and keep separate from new or non-damaged pallets

* Support materials suppliers if needed to opening packaged materials(material suppliers are clean personnel and cannot be in contact with anything that can contaminate our raw materials)

**Required Qualifications:**

- Must be able to communicate in English.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Must be available for occasional overtime and flexible work schedule to include occasional weekends (Saturday)

**Preferred Qualification (if Applicable):**

1. Food related experience preferred.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**

- Must be able to work in cool conditions (45 degrees)

- Must be able to be on feet majority of the day

- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, pull

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently

- Must be able to reach over head

- Must be able to stand on feet all day

- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background verification.

Consideration will be given to internal applicants that are in good standing within their current position, this includes the following:

* Attendance is less than 3 points

* Must have been in current position for at least 6 months

* Have no Discipline Notices within the last 6 months
