Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown Insurance has an exciting opportunity available for an Account Manager for our team in Mandeville, LA.Primary responsibility includes customer service duties for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production of Life & Health and Property & Casualty business.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Assist producers in Marketing New Accounts and RenewalsHandle carrier/client correspondence as dictated in company workflowMaintaining client files (electronic and paper as required)Month End Procedures as neededProcessing applications and change formsProcessing Applications/QuotingProviding Customer ServiceAssisting with receptionist dutiesPreparing AORs and forwarding to carriersPreparing Top Gun Reports for New Sales, AORs, and lost businessPreparing New Account and Renewal ProposalsAssistance with submission of New Business and follow up on outstanding requirementsAssist Accounting Department with accounts receivables as definedDevelopment and assisting with Company advertising/marketing as neededDevelopment of Carrier/Company/Client correspondence projects as neededWHAT YOU'LL NEED:Minimum education requiredLicense or Designation (Life & Health and Property & Casualty)Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar positionAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityProficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Exceptional telephone demeanorWHAT WE OFFER:Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experienceAccrued Paid Time Off (PTO)Generous benefits package: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401(k) or Roth 401(k), Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
