Hybrid/Onsite at Paramount Theatre and in elementary school campuses throughout Austin
Salary: $20 per hour
Work Schedule: 25 hours/week
Contract: September 2024 May 2025
Paramount Theatre Education seeks a Program Associate to support the teaching and administrative duties of the Story Wranglers Program, a 7 week in-school residency for creative writing integrated with Theatre Arts for third grade classrooms throughout the greater Austin area for the 2024-25 school year.

Responsibilities
- Carry out administrative duties such as data entry, transcriptions, calendar management, scheduling, copying, filing, record keeping, managing inventory, prepping supplies, sending campus communications, and assisting with contract administration.
- Teaching for each Residency and subbing classes as needed
- Conduct bi-weekly Zoom meetings with teaching teams
- Collaborate with Program Director and Co-Facilitate teacher training and workshops
- Assist with SW School Shows (delivering and collecting Post Show Surveys)
- Support other Paramount EDU Department programs when available
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in education/fine arts preferred
- Knowledge/Experience with Curriculum Design
- Classroom Teaching and/or Teaching Artist experience (preferably with grades K-5)
- Knowledge of Arts Based instructional strategies
- Spanish language proficiency preferred ELL Training
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Slides)
- Must be available to work flexible day-time hours
- Reliable transportation
- General physical requirements such as lifting 25lbs., standing for long periods, bending and constant motion is often required.
- Organized, reliable, flexible, strong communication skills, good time management
