The beautiful new AC Hotel by Marriott, Greenville Downtown, is seeking an energetic, welcoming and knowledgeable bartender, who has the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment. We are looking for a bartender who interacts well with customers, who is experienced in all aspect of the bar, and has extensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
Essential Job Functions
- Has knowledge in mixing and serves cocktails and serving wine and draught or bottled beer.
- Prepares garnishes as necessary.
- Checks quality of food before serving.
- Has full knowledge of, and fully complies with, the state liquor laws.
- Pours responsibly for profitable bar cost, by accurate measurement of product.
- Follows proper procedures for ringing guest checks and collecting payments.
- Responsible for the set- up, cleanliness and organization of the bar.
- Completes opening/closing duties (side work).
- Adheres to all Brand and Company policies.
Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must speak, read, and understand English.
