Integrity Engineer Location: Exxon Office Luanda
Rotation: 11 months on/1 month off
Client: Exxon
As an integrity engineer, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of various systems, equipment, and facilities within an organization.
Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards andvulnerabilities in equipment and structures
Inspection and Testing: Develop and implement inspection and testing protocols to assessthe condition and performance of equipment and structures
Monitoring andAnalysis: Monitor and analyze data frominspections, tests to evaluate the integrity and reliability of assets
Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance plans and schedules based on inspection andtesting results to ensure the continued safe operation of assets
Failure Analysis: Investigate equipment failures and incidents to determine the rootcauses and develop recommendations for preventing recurrence
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulationsrelated to integrity and safety
Documentation andReporting: Maintain accurate records ofinspections, tests, and maintenance activities, and prepare reports formanagement and regulatory agencies
Coordinate execution of coating activities as definedby the Mechanical Integrity Engineer
Oversight and management of coatings crews offshore
Generate and/or review work packs
Arrange logistics to meet work pack requirements(equipment, materials, personnel, etc.)
Generate status reports and others as required
Support effort to comply with Conrtact Managementrequirements (i.e. interface plan)
Program cost management (SR/SE, cost tracking,accruals)
Perform regular offshore visits to check status of theprogram
Candidate profile
Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, such asmechanical, civil, or materials engineering
Experience: Previous experience in a related role, such as reliabilityengineering, asset integrity management, or materials engineering. Experiencewith risk assessment, inspection techniques, and failure analysis is valuable.
Certifications: Professional certifications related to integrity engineering, suchas API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector), API 570 (Piping Inspector), API 653(Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector), or NACE (National Association ofCorrosion Engineers) certifications
Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in areas such as structural analysis,materials science, corrosion control, and non-destructive testing (NDT) areessential. Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies for dataanalysis and modeling may also be required.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial foridentifying and addressing integrity issues and developing effective solutions.
HSEQ: A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding ofsafety regulations and best practices are essential for ensuring the integrityand reliability of assets and protecting personnel and the environment.
