Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled individual capable of producing precision machined components by effectively setting up and operating the CNC router. The role emphasizes safety while ensuring high-quality cuts of materials.

Qualifications

Licensing/Certificates: CNC certification is advantageous. Forklift certification is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and job orders for product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions such as feed rates and cutting speeds.
  • Adhere to the established sequence of operations.
  • Select and secure the appropriate tool in the tool holder.
  • Position and secure the workpiece accurately.
  • Utilize equipment to align tools and workpieces effectively.
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut as necessary.
  • Monitor the operation of the machine and the machined workpiece to ensure compliance with specifications.
