**Job Details** **Description** **Summary** The Ecommerce Assistant Manager will assist in managing all Ecommerce Generalists, Specialists and Supervisors. This position will assist in overseeing department operations and are responsible for ensuring the coordination of all warehouse functions to achieve optimum daily productivity. This position also focuses on assisting with Teammate relations including scheduling, orientating, and training. The Assistant Manager can perform all job functions of a Generalist, Specialist and Supervisor. The Teammate in this role is consistently on time for shifts and meetings and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. The Assistant Manager demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality. This Teammate must consistently meet productivity standards, complete work in timely manner and strive to increase productivity while working safely and quickly. **Special Hours Required: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday): 8:00 a.m.

4:30 p.m.; Monday

Friday shifts: 12:30 p.m.

9 p.m. (one day off during the week)** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** This description intends to describe the general nature and level of work performed by Teammates assigned to this job. It is not intended to include all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions * Work closely with Teammates to ensure all aspects of the ecommerce warehouse are completed safely, accurately, and expediently. * Assists in management of Teammate work schedules. * Assists in monitoring product, orders, and Teammates for the department on designated shift. * Assists in overseeing the flow of product through facility systems and make necessary changes to optimize production. * Assist with printing and processing all department orders. * In partnership with Ecommerce Managers, monitor productivity and accuracy of both individual Teammates and the team and provide feedback as needed. * Ensure professional and timely communication with departments, Managers, and Teammates. * Serves as an escalation point for all Teammates, including Supervisors, for both operational and personnel issues. * Address Teammate concerns and update Managers when necessary. * Resolve inventory discrepancies and assist in monitoring all inventories and materials. * Provide feedback and support to Store Managers regarding product, procedures, or inventory discrepancy issues. * Troubleshoot mechanical and hardware issues and determine work-around(s) until complete. * Assist with new hire orientation. * Coordinate thorough training to Teammates for receiving and processing product from Ecommerce to guests or retail stores. * Assists Teammates with functions pertaining to internal or company applications/programs. * Guide Teammates in any emergency situation requiring evacuation or shelter. * Assists in all opening/closing procedures. * In person attendance is required to complete job duties. * Maintain a clean and safe work area and replenish any supplies needed. * Special projects and other duties as assigned in either distribution or online fulfillment warehouses as necessary. * Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit. * Functions may vary based on scheduled shift. **Supervisory Responsibilities** In partnership with Ecommerce Managers, directly supervises all Teammates in Ecommerce. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; coordination of training; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training Teammates. **Education and/or Experience** Associates degree from a two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Additional Qualifications** May operate a forklift for 8 hours or more based on business need for select Teammates. Forklift certification is required for those operating a forklift. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours or more; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Teammate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more than 60 pounds. Teammate must be comfortable working at heights on a multilevel mezzanine and have the ability to climb multi-level of stairs on a daily basis. Also regularly required to bend, twist and turn at waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to operate a motor vehicle based on business need. **Work Environment** While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The Teammate is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
