POSITION PURPOSE:

The Regional Director of Sales role is responsible for the oversight, leadership, and guidance of branch sales resources. A dynamic, hands-on, senior-level leader is directly responsible for overseeing multiple branch sales across a given region or territory. This leader is responsible for the attainment of our service commitments and that the business exceeds budget and growth expectations in new business.

Assure all Region Account Managers meet all sales goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Responsible for leadership development, reporting metrics, sales training, and goal attainment. Bring consistency and compliance across the regional sales platform. This position will report to the Regional VP.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:

OBJECTIVES:Be part of a team that sets the short- and long-term strategic objectives for the companyEnsure that those strategic objectives are implemented in the region to maximize regional performanceDevelop annual sales plans for the region to ensure alignment with corporate budget and goalsReview and report the region's sales attainment to the SVP of Branch SalesWork with GM's to adjust strategy as needed to improve regional sales performanceIdentify and develop future sales leadersContinuously review and monitor sales targets and goals with branch sales teamsAssure branch sales teams perform with consistency and ensure compliance to corporate processes and systemsParticipate in acquisition sourcing and integrationDevelop and uphold the company's mission, vision, and valuesOther duties as needed by the companySALES

Manage the development and execution of all sales strategies, plans, and programs to increase overall exposure and revenueEnsures sales consistency and coordinated leadership of sales performanceEnsure proper execution of sales plans at the branch and regional levelsUnderstand market conditions and potential opportunities to protect and expand current market share, including interaction with customersEstablish and maintain relationships with strategic business partners and key stakeholdersParticipate in job margins progress and costs; Communicate plan changes to managementLEADERSHIP

Meet with branch sales teams and GMs to evaluate company performance, understand opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness, and to gain insight into trends that may impact the businessDevelop, coach, and direct the efforts of the general manager, and sales staff to achieve sales and profit performance goalsDevelop bench strength through succession planning to build a sales talent pipeline within the regionQUALIFICATIONS:Strong business development experience, skills, and ideasTen or more years of progressive experience in sales managementProven supervisory skillsStrong communication skills both verbally and written ability to communicate effectively with customers, senior management staff, vendors and staffEffective problem solving, leadership, organizational and planning skillsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsAbility to coach, mentor and develop sales team membersMust be able to motivate, inspire and achieve results through othersPREFERENCES:

College degree in Business preferred or equivalent work experienceWorking knowledge of the restoration and construction industryProficient in SalesForce CRMSPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

25-50% TravelWORK REQUIREMENTS:

This is a sedentary role; however, some lifting is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, stooping or standing on a stool as necessary.Ability to lift 25 lbs.A valid driver license required
