Inventory Control Clerk

Petmate Position Title: Inventory Control Clerk Location: Mansfield, TX POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing inventory discrepancies, supporting production schedules, and ensuring the integrity of inventory data through regular audits and cycle counts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily inventory count: floor, silo, and railcar Update daily production weight in pounds Coordinate with lab technician to send recipe report Process daily production in Oracle by applying recipe and BOM to deduct raw materials and update finished goods inventory Scale trucks in and out Print labels for raw materials Conduct weekly cycle counts for finished goods and raw materials Receive materials in Oracle Ship-confirm orders in Oracle close out orders confirm shipment Maintain receiving and shipping logs incoming and outgoing trucks Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments Manage daily shipping/receiving schedule Complete month-end inventory and paperwork SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Education/Experience HS diploma or GED Microsoft Office: Intermediate Excel, Word Knowledge of Oracle (preferred) 1 year experience with inventory management systems Type 40-50 WPM Read, write Basic arithmetic math skills Basic warehouse knowledge Bi-lingual (preferred) Forklift experience (preferred) PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
