We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsAssociate performs a variety of duties in preparing patient for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. He/she will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measures concentration of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Associate maintains safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co-workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateState Registered Radiologic TechnicianBachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalentNuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start dateMust be registered/eligible by NMTCB and/or ARRT (N).
