JOB MISSION:

Product Owner - DTC Order Management

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for improving our global DTC business by leading the enhancement of our order management technology. This role will work closely with teams of developers and business partners to craft a global vision and product strategy that will align with the DTC long-term plan.

This role will ensure we're creating a seamless customer experience across every touchpoint in the consumer journey.

The Product Owner must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas, change management) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, managing a backlog, communicating status and progress). Must have business and technical skills to conduct business reviews, communicate across all levels of the organization, and find the fastest way to achieve value within the product line.

The Product Owner will need to balance competing priorities and stakeholders between regional and global business teams. This role will work closely with our Market Expansion team responsible for launching DTC into new regions and countries to ensure order management solutions are able to scale accordingly.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABLITIES:
  • Create and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive continuous progress towards desired business outcomes.
  • Own the roadmap and execution plan of enhancing our global Order Management systems.
  • Define success metrics for the product and new capabilities and continuously measure success towards those goals.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of Minimum Viable Products and scale them when validated.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from discovery through creation and validation to production and repeat.
  • Become a resident expert in our software solutions and business problems, asking the right questions to fully understand the what and the why.
  • Breakdown the product vision into user stories, create storyboards, write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with a team of engineers and designers.
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process between internal stakeholders and customers while protecting the freedom and autonomy of the teams.
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal stakeholder groups, including IT, Engineering, and Business.
REQUIREMENTS SUCCESS:
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Product Management role.
  • Ecommerce and Order Management expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a global product across global stakeholders.
  • Must possess strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • A natural decision-maker who inspires the confidence of those they work with. Has the ability to present their case with confidence.
  • Excellent product judgment: You have an in-depth understanding of what makes a user experience good or bad, and strong intuition for what people want to do.
  • Problem obsessed: You can identify tangible problems that can be solved through technology solutions and pursue them ruthlessly.
  • Strategic insight: You understand the industry in depth and can use your knowledge to influence the behavior of key players.
  • Leadership: Others naturally look to you for guidance. You understand group dynamics and can organize chaotic situations.
  • Terrific communication skills: You've got a high signal-to-noise ratio. You're persuasive and sensitive to nuance.
