Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer - Building Systems in our Peoria, Normal, or Springfield, Illinois offices. In this role, you will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide as well as in the North Texas Region and offers great growth potential.
Job Activities:
- Perform structural design calculations
- Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services,
- Perform site visits, client meetings and coordination with the project team
- Participate in business development activities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
- 4-15 years of structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure, preferred
- Experience with design and construction administration of building structures
- Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Revit proficiency, preferred
