Job Description Brightspeed is searching for a Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction to join our teamThe Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale fiber network deployment projects, with a focus on Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) and private housing developments. This role manages end-to-end project delivery - including scheduling, vendor management, and performance tracking - to ensure on-time, on-budget completion of complex fiber builds. As a key member of the Brightspeed Enhanced Communities (BEC) Team, the Senior Program Manager drives operational excellence, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and supports continuous process improvement within the Engineering & Construction organization. As Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction your responsibilities will include: Leading program management for the development and monitoring of engineering and construction build plans Overseeing and managingthe full project lifecycle across all vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders Directing local engineers in reviewing and refining mechanized engineering designs to identify and implement redesign opportunities Managingproject changes related to engineering design, construction, and resource allocation Providingprocess support and leadership to internal network teams and external infrastructure service providers Drivingcross-functional process improvements to optimize fiber build efficiency and execution Managing fiber deployment programs across multiple market segments, including: MDUs with fewer than 50 premises, Greenfield and Brownfield MDUs with more than 50 premises, Single-family homes in Homeowner Associations (HOAs) Monitoring material management and ensuringalignment with project schedules and cost controls Collaboratingwith cross-functional partners to ensure build requirements align with market agreements Promotingcompany culture, fostering collaboration, open communication, and accountability across teams Performing other duties as assigned The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required Qualifications WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Minimum 3 years of experience managing fiber construction builds and related infrastructure programs Proven experience leading telecommunications fiber build projects and managing infrastructure service providers Strong understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) design and construction practices Proficiency in engineering and project management tools such as BOSS, IQGeo, and Sitetracker. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience working cross-functionally across diverse teams Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining quality and budget control Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction BONUS POINTS FOR: Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Telecom, Cable, or Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry experience #LI-GF1 Additional Information WHY JOIN US?
