This role manages end-to-end project delivery including scheduling, vendor management, and performance tracking to ensure on-time, on-budget completion of complex fiber builds. As a key member of the Brightspeed Enhanced Communities (BEC) Team, the Senior Program Manager drives operational excellence, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and supports continuous process improvement within the Engineering & Construction organization. As Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction your responsibilities will include: Leading program management for the development and monitoring of engineering and construction build plansOverseeing and managing the full project lifecycle across all vendors, internal teams, and stakeholdersDirecting local engineers in reviewing and refining mechanized engineering designs to identify and implement redesign opportunitiesManaging project changes related to engineering design, construction, and resource allocationProviding process support and leadership to internal network teams and external infrastructure service providersDriving cross-functional process improvements to optimize fiber build efficiency and executionManaging fiber deployment programs across multiple market segments, including: MDUs with fewer than 50 premises, Greenfield and Brownfield MDUs with more than 50 premises, Single-family homes in Homeowner Associations (HOAs)Monitoring material management and ensuring alignment with project schedules and cost controlsCollaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure build requirements align with market agreementsPromoting company culture, fostering collaboration, open communication, and accountability across teamsPerforming other duties as assignedThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Minimum 3 years of experience managing fiber construction builds and related infrastructure programsProven experience leading telecommunications fiber build projects and managing infrastructure service providersStrong understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) design and construction practicesProficiency in engineering and project management tools such as BOSS, IQGeo, and Sitetracker.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience working cross-functionally across diverse teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining quality and budget controlDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire othersProcess improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction BONUS POINTS FOR: Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplinePMP (Project Management Professional) certificationTelecom, Cable, or Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry experienceRecognized as a Top Workplace by the Charlotte Observer, Brightspeed HQ is located on the 7th floor of the new Vantage South End - East Tower in Charlotte, NC.
