Job Title: Set Up Technician

Job Description

As a Set Up Technician, you will work in a manufacturing environment at your own cell, setting up and operating machinery. Your role will involve ensuring that machines are properly configured and maintained to perform optimally.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machinery in a designated cell.
  • Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Conduct machine changeovers and ensure proper tooling and mold setup.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to accurately set up machines.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for machine maintenance and fabrication.
  • Ensure machines are running efficiently and address any mechanical issues.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in machine operation and setup.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with mold and tooling setup.
  • Knowledge of plastic fabrication and welding.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing setting, primarily at your own cell where you will set up and operate machinery. The role requires the use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety protocols. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail to ensure machines are running efficiently.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50
