Duties Include: Navigate Hospital Information System (Athena) to schedule XR exams and access clinical information as needed Utilize Inland Imaging PACs for Radiologist interpretation of diagnostic imaging Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs Position patient correctly for X-Ray exams following department protocols Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Acquire diagnostic images on DR system and post-process as needed Review and evaluate images to determine quality and use clinical judgement to determine need for repeat exposures Answer patient questions as they relate to the exam Operate within radiologic standards of care and follow ALARA imaging principle Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures GCHD offers health insurance coverage, with employee cost paid by the hospital, dental coverage, vision, life and LTD benefits, generous PTO, sick leave, holiday pay, retirement plan, and an employer funded Health Reimbursement Account for use at the hospital.
