Responsibilities * Assist with the preparation of the federal consolidated tax return * Prepare federal and state partnership and LLC tax returns * Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns (combined/unitary as well as separate state income tax returns) * Assist with the preparation and review of the Company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations * Assist with IRS and state tax authority audits * Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly estimated income tax payments * Perform tax research and analysis on special projects as needed * Identify and implement federal and state tax planning opportunities * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740) #LI-AW1 Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting * CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred. * One to four years of Federal and state income tax compliance experience obtained in a public accounting or corporate environment. * Hands on, detail oriented individual, strong tax compliance and problem-solving skills, including account reconciliation and analysis of book/tax differences.? Strong work-ethic and sense of responsibility. * Self-motivated.? Value-added focus. ?Proactive and efficient. Team player that works well with others. * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required), tax research software, and tax compliance software. ??JD Edwards and Corptax experience a plus. * Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Position requires reliable, consistent and punctual attendance.
