CTE Assets and Compliance Manager

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Asset and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the income and disposal of all CTE assets, with a specific focus on data management, monitoring, and Perkins compliance (size, scope, and quality indicators) as it pertains to Perkins-funded programs.
Responsibilities
- Perkins Compliance (Size, Scope, and Quality Indicators): Develop and enforce protocols to ensure teacher compliance with Perkins requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers regarding documentation, reporting, and adherence to program guidelines.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness and efficiency of CTE assets.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess the impact of assets on educational outcomes.
- Analyze the utilization of CTE assets by teachers and programs. Identify trends and opportunities for optimizing asset usage to enhance the quality of career and technical education. Implement and enforce compliance measures outlined in the Perkins legislation.
- Ensure that all data collection, reporting, and documentation align with federal regulations.
- Develop and conduct training programs for teachers on data collection, reporting requirements, and compliance measures.
- Promote a culture of awareness and understanding among educators.
- Oversee the disposal of CTE assets that have reached the end of their lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to regulations governing asset disposal and documentation.
- Maintain meticulous records of all data, financial transactions, teacher compliance documentation, and asset-related information.
- Prepare documentation for audits and reporting.
- Prepare for and facilitate audits related to CTE assets, teacher compliance, and data management.
- Ensure that all documentation is in order for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and data specialists, to enhance collaboration and streamline data-related processes.
- Operates a motor vehicle to conduct various work activities.
- Attends work as scheduled and arrives to work on time.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Complies with applicable district, state, and federal codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
- Adheres to the Teacher Code of Ethics as defined by Tennessee Law and Code of Professional Conduct as defined by Board Policy 5.6011.
- Use computers and other technology to enter and access information related to essential job functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Attends meetings and training as required.
Knowledge/Education/Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years related governmental asset and compliance experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
- Working knowledge related to school district operations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience working in CTE preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to perform all assigned work with a high degree of accuracy and with close attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all stakeholders.
- Ability to make sound professional judgments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet browsers, and Google platforms.
- Proficiency in data management software and tools.
Compensation:
Salary is based on a combination of relevant education and experience.
