We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Drafter at our Corporate Headquarters in Crystal Lake, IL.
Job Responsibilities
•Create and modify engineering drawings in conformance with GK standards defining equipment and parts for manufacture.
•Generate bills of material as required for release to manufacturing.
•Effectively use available technology to enhance productivity.
•Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, ensuring that all requirements are met.
•Work within a team environment, working closely with Design and Production Engineers, and our Manufacturing team.
•Fully support the Company's ISO objectives, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, Technical Associate degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer aided design systems, preferably Inventor.
- Two years CAD drafting work experience or equivalent preferred.
- Prior Mechanical Engineering course work a plus.
- The ability to take ownership and show support for work related initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
