Job DescriptionOur client, a leading confectionery company, is currently seeking an accomplished Controls Engineer to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:1) Support production and maintenance to meet organizational metrics2) Create production work documentation, such as change-over checklists, SOPs, and SOCs for new and existing products and processes3) Assist in selection, design criteria, and validation of new equipment as necessary4) Maintain and facilitate process improvement and workflow documentation5) Lead a project while maintaining scope, cost and schedule criteria6) Provide project management, scopes of work, cost estimates and timeline for implementation7) Engineer, design, build and specify equipment systems to meet technical service needs for improved final product, productivity, or cost reductions8) Provide structured planning that considers production requirements, staffing requirements, and safety aspects9) Must possess in-depth working knowledge of all production machinery to develop and implement operational training manuals.10) Troubleshoot, manipulate, and program PLCs11) Be capable of Integrating multiple machines via ethernet communication12) Troubleshoot equipment and systems under pressure and determine the root cause13) Communicate and interact with various levels of personnel to accomplish goals and tasks14) Adhere to FDA and GMP requirements for food manufacturing15) Perform other duties as assignedCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.
