Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill customer specifications while leveraging knowledge of NFPA codes, including NEC, particularly for the oil and gas and chemical sectors.
  • Design systems for grounding, heat tracing, lighting, panel layouts, and both single-line and three-line diagrams for low voltage applications.
  • Calculate and specify requirements for cable trays and conduits.
  • Oversee commissioning and provide ongoing support post-startup for engineering designs.
  • Assist in fulfilling customer contracts that require 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Possesses a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrates capability in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, or systems.
  • Has a solid understanding of process control fundamentals.
  • Applies mathematical and engineering principles effectively in electrical system designs.
  • Conducts research to generate innovative design solutions and enhancements.
  • Exhibits expertise in various concepts, practices, and procedures, mentoring junior engineers.
  • Possesses strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight trips to client locations.
  • Available to support on-call duties as needed.
