Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Marketing Director to spearhead our marketing efforts and play a pivotal role in our expansion, driving awareness and enrollment for our unique screenwriting education platform and our screenwriting podcast. You’ll not only be growing our current programs, but also laying the groundwork for our ambitious expansion into management of our students’ writing careers and production of their work. You'll join a team committed to empowering artists and disrupting traditional models, making a lasting difference in the lives of storytellers and the broader creative community.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to promote and scale our screenwriting school and its offerings.

Manage and optimize a limited marketing budget with a focus on organic and digital marketing to maximize ROI.

Grow our podcast audience and leverage speaking engagements to increase our visibility.

Scale enrollment in our current class and subscription offerings.

Launch and market new programs, including a low-priced online subscription program model and an in-person retreat program.

Oversee website redesign to enhance SEO and conversion rates.

Improve list segmentation and execute effective email marketing campaigns.

Lead social media strategy, focusing on engagement and community building, and harnessing the enthusiasm of our devoted students.

Forge strategic partnerships with complementary organizations and film industry players.

Harness the talent of our faculty and part-time class concierges to enhance marketing efforts and increase lead generation.

Utilize AI tools and techniques to innovate and improve marketing efficiency..

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital marketing, content creation, and strategy development.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Experience marketing subscription programs and podcasts.

Proficiency in SEO, adwords, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics tools.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in managing successful marketing campaigns on a limited budget.

Skilled at managing and mentoring team members.

Knowledge of AI tools and techniques for marketing purposes.

Familiarity with UI/UX principles and effective website design.

A disruptive and creative self-starter, with big ideas and the follow-through to successfully implement them.

Passion for storytelling and the film industry is a plus.
