Role Summary Join our team as the Director of Talent & Culture for The Lodge at Blue Sky, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by providing first-level support for staff and guests while collaborating with all functional areas of the business to ensure compliance, encourage positive productivity and enhance growth capability.

Development of the annual Talent & Culture property strategy including all areas of the employee lifecycle: Recruiting: manage selection processes and onboarding, ensuring the employment experience begins in the selection Benefits (local annual benefits enrollment, billing/reconciliations, on-going Q&A, FMLA/LOA processing and compliance) Internal communication Performance Management: manage 90 day and annual review processes Learning & Development: facilitate a great onboarding experience, facilitate the Management Development Program, deliver Leadership Training Series content, ensure compliance with national and state/local training requirements, monitor Personal Development Plans for all managers, participate in annual Talent Review processes Total Rewards: partner with finance and GM on offer preparation, and ensuring a total rewards package that is locally competitive and attractive Enliven on-going team member recognition

Encourage attention to detail and eye for luxury at all levels Partner with the GMs and Executive Committee members as the culture steward - focus on Daily Rallies in all departments, develop and maintain engagement calendar (recognition, events) Maintain a positive work environment with an on-going "listening strategy" to include stay interviews, GM roundtables, department meetings, daily rallies Member of Executive Committee, with a focus on driving service excellence Champion our Social Purpose Program for community outreach Develop and manage annual T&C property budget; partner with Director of Finance to measure and monitor productivity Triage employee issues (performance, employee relations) Ensure on-going COVID response (compliance to internal health & safety SOPs, daily temperature screenings, contact tracing maintenance, compliance with local health regulations) Engagement surveys: administer annual and on-going pulse surveys, facilitate action plan development and follow-up for on-going improvement of the overall employee experience Deploy Blue Sky and Auberge-wide talent & culture initiatives On-site administration (compliance with federal and state labor law, including EEO, wage & hour, exchange visitors, regulatory agencies) HRIS maintenance, payroll involvement, team member file maintenance

Skills and Abilities

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, work well under the pressure of a pre-opening resort, and hold others accountable for meeting deadlines Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal English communication skills; computer literate

Required Qualifications

HR generalist experience, 3+ years Demonstrated HR leadership experience and capability Bachelors degree Luxury hotel experience HRIS/payroll system, UKG preferred Spanish language competency PHR/other HR certification preferred
