Job Summary:

Preparing and processing Consumer Loans, including Investment Secured Loans and HELOC's, while providing excellent customer service to our members.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Settlers Best/Wings Financial CU deposit and loan products, programs and goals.
  • Accountable for the timely preparation of home equity documents, consumer and Investment loans.
  • Responsible for funding loan to core system and verifying in core system.
  • Responsible for the ordering and tracking of home equity title and appraisal requests.
  • Responsible for filing of home equity mortgages, resolution of unrecorded mortgages and creating and filing satisfactions of mortgages or release documents.
  • Service existing Home Equity, consumer and investment loans including providing payoff statements and reviewing subordination requests.
  • Actively work with multiple application software programs.
  • Assist members over the phone or via email.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of departmental reports.
  • Provide feedback to supervisor/manager for department efficiencies and avenues to improve the member experience.
  • Assist the loan administration team by assisting with consumer loan processing
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year financial or mortgage industry experience preferred.
  • Familiar with state and federal regulations concerning real estate lending.
  • Working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office) and copy machines.
  • Experience with MeridianLink and/or FIPCO's Compliance Concierge as preferred (but not required)
  • Bondable
