The RVT Sonographer performs ultrasounds and assists with procedures in a collaborative medical environment.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position working daytime hours 4 days per week out of our Woodbury and Edina locations. No weekends, holiday, or on-call work required.

Vascular & Interventional Experts is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:

  • Perform non-invasive lower extremity venous reflux testing independently
  • Extensive knowledge of the arterial system and deep and superficial venous systems
  • Perform exercise arterial physiologic segmental pressures
  • Ability to recognize pathology and accurately interpret results to providers
  • Room and prep patients for procedures
  • General Ultrasound scanning, as needed
  • Care for ultrasound equipment and keep rooms clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Maintain certification and compliance with accrediting bodies
  • Provide excellent patient care
  • Team player.Able to adapt to changing priorities and embrace flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • RVT Board Certified
  • Ability to travel to clinic locations across the metro up to 50%
  • Current CPR & BLS Certification
Essential Requirements:

Ability to:
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines.
  • Complete job required training.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
  • Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other work locations, if required
