Position Title: PARTS ASSOCIATELocation: MIDLAND, TXFLSA Class: NON-EXEMPT

Position Summary: The position of Parts Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to mechanics and other team members in a busy parts department focused on tractor-trailer maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory levels by ordering and stocking parts as needed.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of parts inventory and sales through TMT software.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in parts availability and pricing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
Other Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must lift heavy equipment and parts regularly up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be comfortable with working in a shop environment.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a parts department or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and accessories.
  • Proficient in computer skills and ability to use parts lookup systems (TMT).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
