The goal is to promote the patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Contract Detail

  • Position: Charge RN - ER
  • Location: Eden, TX
  • Duration: 13 weeks +
  • Shifts:
    • Days, 36/48 hours
  • Travel Pay (if 50 miles or more from the facility):
    • Weekly Pay
      • Weeks with 36 hrs - $2,359.00
      • Weeks with 48 hrs - $2,919.00
    • Detail:
      • Weekly Per Diem pay (non-taxed) - $1,099
      • Hourly - $35/hr
      • Overtime starts at 40 hours
  • Local Pay:
    • Hourly Pay: $60/hr
    • Overtime starts at 40 hours
  • Start: ASAP
Job Duties:
  • Work in a charge position as defined by the client
  • Evaluates assigned patients. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care
  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
  • Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine procedures and fill in patient's charts.
  • Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
  • Certifications:
    • Approved Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Charge experience a plus
