The Behavioral Health Clinical Manager is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience providing short-term, evidenced based, individual psychotherapy to individuals with autism and other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and related disorders. The ideal candidate would have experience working with individuals and families to address mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, have theoretical knowledge of child development and understand the importance of the caregiver-child relationship. This role involves collaboration with Case Managers and all clinical leaders at Easterseals Northern California and partnering with Catalight Care Services for client support and scheduling. Joining Easterseals also means that you want to be part of a culture and community focused on equality and belonging so all people of all abilities can live their best lives and thrive.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvide individual counseling and psychotherapy to individuals diagnosed with ASD/IDD, offering support and evidence-based interventions to address a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.Working with individuals and families to create and implement individualized, high-quality, clinically appropriate treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of clients within the Behavioral Health Services Program.Collaborate with funders to coordinate the care of clients through collaboration with the individuals/systems involved with the client care, including funders and case managers.Responsible for assessing and addressing risk, escalating high risk clinical concerns to supervisor.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with funder and regulatory guidelinesProvide clinical supervision and work direction to direct supervisees that include skills enhancement, clinical consultation, and professional development.Ability to provide clinical supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Trainees and Associates per BBS requirements for those seeking licensure.Meet or exceed Behavioral Health Services Program operating targets as an individual and for supervised team.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelinesAdhere to the FoC network structure organizational protocols.Ensure clinical quality, compliance, regulatory, and funder requirements are met, and take action if they are not.Partner with colleagues and managers to ensure a positive customer experience for all clients through coordinated service delivery.Maintain necessary continuing education requirements.Support the development of the annual Behavioral Health Services Program V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures).Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:A current valid license in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.One or more years' as a licensed clinician. (At least two years is preferred)Two or more years' experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role.Must meet qualifications to provide clinical supervision hours to Marriage and Family Trainees and associates and/or Associate Clinical Social Workers.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge and experience providing psychotherapy to individuals utilizing evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and/or Dialectical behavioral therapy.Experience providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.Theoretical knowledge of childhood development and experience working with families to support the caregiver-child relationship.Commitment to building, developing, and supporting diverse teams.Enthusiasm for the values of the organization, including disruption and resilience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual ability preferred.Confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment and maintenance of all HIPAA requirements.Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures and regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and related computer software.Capacity to consistently demonstrate the use of good judgment and decision-making skills.Ability to develop effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally and economically diverse population.Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills.Physical Requirements:Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, twisting in order to observe, assess and interact with clients.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, stand for up to 6-8 hours a day.Occasional lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials up to and including 50lbs.Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.Frequent speaking and listening (50%) to clients, staff and other professionals in meetings and on the phone.Occasional driving (to and from office and client homes).Ability to utilize computer, cell phone (iPhone).Frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.Frequent exposure to disability disorders in clients; occasional emergency situation; occasional exposure to trauma; constant client contact and decision-making; constant concentration required when working with clients.Occasional sitting and maintaining close visual attention to write reports and work at the computer.Ability to physically implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTAbility to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.Ability to travel to multiple work sites and client homes; reliable transportation needed.Must have a valid California Driver's License with insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations and clear TB testing based on company policies.Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certificate.Ability to obtain and maintain a National Provider Identifier (NPI).Must attend any required training.Time Type:Full timeCompensation:$104k-$109k annuallyThe statements contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job.
