Family Owned | Growth Oriented | New Building
This company, founded in 1977, manufactures, installs, and services OEM overhead cranes. This is a family owned business with a team oriented approach to their operations, expressing that the opinions and inputs of each employee is of great importance to them. Their 50,000 sq ft facility houses about 40 on-site employees, some with tenure anywhere from 15-20 years. Dedicated to providing high quality products, custom engineering solutions, and service, this company has begun the process of manufacturing their products in house. This is a low volume production environment producing very large steel parts. In order to achieve their goals, they recently purchased a brand new turnkey Doosan CNC multi spindle lathe with live tooling.
In this role, you will serve an integral part of increasing in-house production of critical parts by performing set up and operation of lathe machines.
This is a 1st shift position with flexible scheduling from 7AM-3:30PM with some overtime opportunities.

- Set up, operate, and edit programs for Doosan CNC Lathe
- Evaluate and determine range of in house production capabilities
- Perform first article, in process, and final inspections
- Design and determine proper tooling and fixtures
- Assist in development of shop processes and growth
- 5 years of experience setting up, operating, and editing programs for CNC mills and lathes
- Previous experience programming CNC machines using a CAD/CAM system (GibbsCAM, MasterCAM, NX, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret customer and engineer drawings and prints
- Knowledge of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes preferable
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization
- Experience working with Doosan lathes a big plus (However, ample training opportunities will be provided)
