Quality Engineer II

The Quality Engineer II role is an onsite position and will be located at Regal Rexnord's Union Grove WI facility. The role will focus on development and reinforcement of quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
-
Quality Assurance: Develops and implements quality control systems to ensure product reliability, conformance to standards, and compliance with established quality policies.
Inspection and Testing: Conducts regular inspections and tests of product being produced to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards. This includes dimensional, material, and functional testing.
Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Works closely together with the Continuous Improvement Lead and Manufacturing Engineering to achieve implementation of identified items.
Documentation: Maintains accurate quality assurance documentation. Ensures that all testing procedures and outcomes are properly recorded.
Supplier Quality: Works with suppliers and the corporate Supplier Quality Team, to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
Training: Trains production staff and Quality Technicians on quality control measures to improve product quality and minimize defects.
Non-Conformance Management: Manages non-conforming products by identifying them, segregating them, and deciding their disposition.
Customer Support: Addresses customer complaints and product issues. Work closely with the customer service and engineering teams to resolve these issues and prevent their recurrence.
Compliance: Ensures compliance with local, state, national, and international standards and regulations related to gear manufacturing.
Auditing: Conducts internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 to ensure adherence to quality standards and identifies areas for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

5+ years of experience in a similar role in industrial manufacturing
Preferred Experience:
ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.
Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma is preferred
