Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance IT Quality Assurance and Testing standards and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement automated test scripts as an integral member of a product development team.
  • Perform code evaluations and ensure the proper application of automation frameworks or Quality Assurance & Engineering guidelines across testing initiatives.
  • Communicate QA automation metrics and testing progress to the project team.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor issues discovered during automated test runs.
  • Manage and escalate challenges that arise during the testing process.
  • Support deployment validation of applications or client deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with QA Analysts and QE Lead to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of all assigned responsibilities.
  • Promote quality engineering practices throughout the product/project team.
  • Work in partnership with Quality Assurance Analysts or Quality Assurance Engineers to conduct tests on business applications, online platforms, document processing capabilities, and reporting outputs.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Test Automation or software development/coding with .NET, Selenium, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Proficient in SQL Scripting.
  • Skilled in creating test plans as deliverables for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with DataLake environments (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with DataLake tools (e.g., DBT, HVR).
  • Knowledgeable in BI Analytics Testing.
  • Experienced in ETL Testing.
  • Proficient in creating and executing API Testing.
  • Experienced in Test Data Management.
  • Skilled in Test Data Creation.
  • Knowledgeable in Data Modeling.
  • Experienced with automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of Selenium WebDriver and best practices associated with it.
  • Familiarity with RESTful Web principles.
  • Understanding of Selenium WebDriver in either .NET or Java.
  • Knowledge of various testing types (functional, system, integration, etc.).
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Functional Testing within a project team.
  • At least four years of experience in Automated Testing using a development framework.
