Human Resource – Payroll Generalist

Direct Hire

Onsite 5 days a week in Royersford PA area

Salary – DOE 75-100k range

Exciting opportunity to join growing company in as a Human Resource Generalist/Payroll Coordinator.

The HR generalist/payroll coordinator is responsible for recruiting, employee relations, payroll, and benefits and leave administration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting including post job openings, screen candidates, conduct background checks and schedule manager interviews.
  • Onboarding and offboarding any new hires or terminations.
  • Process payroll.
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims.
  • Administer company benefits, assist with open enrollment, and process changes.
  • Manage Leaves of Absence and ADA accommodations, ensuring compliance with laws,
  • Handle all employee relations issues.
  • Assist with 401(k) administration.
  • Develop and update corporate policies to ensure compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • 4+ years of direct Human Resource experience including recruiting, payroll, and accounting processes.
  • Experience managing employee leaves of absences.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local employment laws.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
