About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Financial Systems Analyst to work in the exciting area of the Finance Enablement Team. The individual will develop, interpret and implement financial models for financial planning and control. This role will be the principal lead responsible for the technical design and implementation of new Adaptive Insights models as well as ongoing enhancements and maintenance of the current system.

Additionally, this role will support business finance transformational work in collaboration with the Business Technology Enterprise Application team. The role will provide project management and technical guidance, be hands on, respond to reporting /analytics requests, lead various integrations and work independently but closely with the functional Finance partners. In this role you will report to the Senior Manager, Finance Enablement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading financial planning and modeling in Adaptive Insights including agile model development, data organization, security, data integrity and supports on-going enhancements for all Finance teams. Evaluating business processes and develops process improvements with focus on optimizing use of Adaptive Planning. Working closely with Finance to understand functional requirements and executes them through successful implementation and testing. Gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Managing transformational projects end to end; ensuring coverage of all facets of design, build, test and deployment aligned to a successful end-user experience. Providing guidance to Finance team members, Workday managers and employees on the use of financial systems. Performing technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Advising Finance leadership on Adaptive Insights modeling and reporting best practices and industry standards.

About You

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or related area. Minimum of 7+ years of directly related experience working with financial planning systems, particularly in Adaptive Planning or other - e.g., Anaplan. Strong hands-on experience building and supporting complex planning and consolidation models. Working SQL proficiency.

Other Qualifications:

Strong understanding of data integration between systems and/or experience working with IT. Knowledge of ERP and Financial Planning software and ability to operate as the Subject Matter Professional on Financial Systems. Solid understanding of Finance, Payroll and HR business processes and their interdependencies. Project management skills; demonstrated ability to manage Finance processes and/or technology projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex information into working Adaptive models. Experience designing reports and dashboards to Financial Plan Models. Proven ability to work independently and with higher levels of management.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $127,900 USD - $191,900 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $103,600 USD - $191,900 USD
