Senior Marketing Engineer for medium voltage electronics. Must be willing to report onsite in Lake Mary, Florida. Will be working with quotes for switchgears and outdoor breakers (don't have to have experience specifically with this). Must have experience with quoting medium voltage electronics.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Customer Project interface: Take the lead in reviewing customers RFQ/specifications and ensuring our quotations are in compliance with the RFQ. Work with Application Engineers & Product Management, Customer Order Engineering, and the factory to ensure the customer and design specifications are being followed.
  • Participate in customer events including customer visits and trade shows, as required, to support growth of switchgear products.
  • Customer Interface: Work directly with our sales teams, channel partners and end-users to provide technical support, build relationships with and enhance JSTs position in the market and with customers.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced associates in the marketing department.
  • Act as a resource for technical and commercial questions for the team.
  • Conduct training both internally and externally to improve product knowledge and penetration of the market.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, engineering and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with quoting projects in the electrical field, primarily in medium voltage products.
  • In-depth understanding of Single-line diagrams for overall electrical systems; bus, circuit breakers, VTs, and CTs, as well as relays, meters and switches
  • Understanding of risk identification and risk mitigation
  • Understanding of financial models; cost, price and margin impact
  • Understanding of Terms and Conditions common in the industry
  • Understand and have some knowledge of the medium voltage markets; customers, products, and regional demands within North America.
  • Knowledge of IEEE and NEMA Standards for medium voltage products.
  • Knowledge of and experience in pricing packaged products.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office functions including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to customer meetings ~15-20% of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering discipline
  • Experience working with utilities, industrial customers and/or construction customers in either a front-end sales or marketing role
  • Experience working in data bases and data management
  • Proven communication skills with demonstrated proactive collaboration and effective influencing skills
