Skystorm is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing campaigns across various channels. Additionally, this person will be responsible for partnering with internal and external teams to meet marketing objectives, achieve goals for keyword rankings, drive targeted traffic to our website, and generate leads. Our Ideal candidate, is someone who is eager to learn, flexible, and has strong writing and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and execution of marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage social media calendar and project releases
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives and develop actionable insights
  • Continually gather data about client targets, competitors, and market opportunities/trends
  • Direct creative agencies, freelance talent, photographers, and writers to ensure brand standards are met
  • Ensure all web pages are optimized for technical and traditional SEO, such as proper search engine indexing, reduced page-load time, schema, clean URL structure, etc.
  • Identify anomalies found within the website, ad platforms, and traffic performance
  • Stay up to date with the latest news and changes related to SEO, SEM, and off-page strategies

Skills

  • Advanced skills in analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Advanced skills in paid digital advertising (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Social media tactics for B2B environments
  • Experience in strategic planning, copywriting, and art direction.
  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and setting priorities with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to confidently advise internal teams about potential markets, service gaps, best practices, or other beneficial market intelligence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with designers and programmers

Proficiencies

  • WordPress based site management
  • Tag management through Google Tag Manager
  • Experience working with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Webmaster Tools, etc.
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • HTML, CSS, and Javascript a plus

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience (agency experience a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Advertising
  • Experience managing external contractors (Creative, Digital, Web, and Marketing agencies)
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and a strategic thinker
  • Bonus points for experience and/or understanding of the video production industry
