Your Job DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, is looking for a Field Production Engineer that can work well in a fast-paced environment. This position requires 95% travel as an on-site Field Production Engineer supporting construction of 10-300MW utility scale solar PV plants and includes per diem and monthly home trips. This role will be part of our larger Project Controls and Scheduling team which is part of the Project and Construction Management organization and supports all DEPCOM Project and Services solutions. The person selected for this role can live anywhere but must be able to travel to the project sites as needed. As part of Koch Engineered Solutions, and with locations across the United States, we are looking for ambitious and entrepreneurial-spirited professionals to join us on our growth journey to transform one of America's fastest growing energy sectors.What You Will Do Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel Quality assurance and quality control of project data Generating daily reports regarding project metrics and work completion Assist with the setup of progress tracking tools Assist with quantity take-offs based on engineering documents Track labor productivity and installation rates for self-perform and subcontracted scopes of work Train field staff on Earned Value Management, productivity, and progress tracking Support project staff with tracking of Subcontracted and Self-Perform scopes of work progress tracking Analysis of various construction installation processes to identify opportunities to optimize (Time Studies, Lean Walks etc.) Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Previous construction experience and/or project controls, estimating, scheduling, or project management experience Experience in MS Excel to include pivot tables and formulas Valid driver's license What Will Put You Ahead Experience in the renewable energy or construction industry Earned Value Management knowledge Field Engineering/Construction experience (Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer) Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tablaeu) For this role, we anticipate paying $90k - $120k per year.
