Job Description:
The Production Lead oversees the production area in a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. Ensures an effective and accurate production line that minimizes costs and aligns with the unit objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Plans, schedules and monitors the production cycle, following company instructions
* Determines staff requirements for production schedules, coordinates, monitors and trains all production staff
* Coordinates the efficient movement of production to meet area requirements
* Applies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data at the cell
* Performs complex precision assembly in accordance with written, visual and verbal instruction
* Conducts Inspections of own and /or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawing
* Other responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma/GED
* 3+ years related experience
Skills and Knowledge:
* Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring production cycles
* Capable of performing complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations
* Good organizational skill
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Able to read and interpret company documents

Descripción del trabajo:
El líder de producción supervisa el área de producción en una variedad de operaciones complejas de ensamblaje mecánico y/o electromecánico de acuerdo con la política y los procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa. Responsabilidades:
* Planifica, programa y monitorea el ciclo de producción, siguiendo instrucciones de la empresa.
* Determina los requisitos de personal para los cronogramas de producción, coordina, monitorea y capacita a todo el personal de producción.
* Coordina el movimiento eficiente de la producción para cumplir con los requisitos del área.
* Aplica las especificaciones del proceso que rigen la producción del producto dentro de una celda asignada, registra el tiempo de producción y los datos de cantidad en la celda.
* Realiza ensamblajes complejos de precisión de acuerdo con instrucciones escritas, visuales y verbales.
* Realiza inspecciones del trabajo propio y/o de otros asociados para asegurar la corrección de acuerdo con el dibujo de la empresa y/o del cliente.
* Otras responsabilidades asignadas
Educación y experiencia:
* Diploma de preparatoria / GED
* 3+ años de experiencia relacionada
Habilidades y conocimientos:
* Experiencia en planificación, programación y seguimiento de ciclos de producción.
* Capaz de realizar operaciones complejas de montaje mecánico y/o electromecánico.
* Buena habilidad organizativa.
* Habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita efectiva.
* Capaz de leer e interpretar documentos de la empresa.
